Bright Morning (Poetry)

With the turn of the year, I’ve made a lot of positive ground regarding my own mental health and the reasons I do what I do. It’s important to take a step back and look at the way we are living, and if the actions we are making are really speaking to our lives or not. It’s important to be true to ourselves and who we are. It’s okay to fall off the horse sometimes, as long as you remember to dust yourself off and get back on.

Whatever you’re going through, whatever you feel always remember one thing:

You have a choice in it all.

2018.11.7- Bright Morning

Thank you for taking time out of your life today to spend with me here on the blog. You don’t know how much it means to me. I’ve loved getting to write for you for five years, and I only hope to write better for you, every day, in every way that I possibly can.

If you’re interested in keeping up with what I’m working on between the blog, my novels + the like, check out my website (linked below) or Instagram (tag below) where you’ll see the start of these big, driven changes I’ve always wanted to make to the business. Really, consider it a rebirth of what Salt + Iron was, into what it was meant to be.

Side note:

If you like science fiction, I’m preparing to begin a serialized Sci-fi story within the next couple of months. I know that’s a pretty spread out deadline, but I want to make sure I get it right before I get it to your eyes. I’ll keep in touch on social media and on the blog when I’m getting ready to release the first chapter!

Don’t half-ass anything.

I’ll see you again this Friday, and in the meantime, always remember that life is not meant to be awful.
