The next couple weeks I’ll be publishing much shorter poems. Both of these were written one night when I awoke in the middle of the night and wrote them down. I don’t know why they were in my head then, but they were and I put them to paper. I think it’s a nice reminder that sometimes, especially for long winded folks like myself, that we pay attention to the little things. Every word out of our mouths doesn’t have to be some long build up to a finale.
Sometimes the most important things we say are only a handful of words. Sometimes, when it comes to other people, less is more.
